About Pewaukee
Just 17 miles west of Milwaukee is the City of Pewaukee. Pewaukee is home to 13,195 residents and is located on the northeastern shores of Pewaukee Lake. Pewaukee is a fairly young city as it was only incorporated in 1999.
Pewaukee Lake is a fairly big lake at 2,437 acres and has moderately clear water, thus making it a popular spot during the warmer months. Here you’ll find many people enjoying the water in various different ways from fishing to boating to swimming at the pubic beach at Lakefront Park. While you’re down at the beach, check out the picturesque downtown district. These quaint local shops range from fine dining to cafes and even a toy store for the kids. Just up the road you’ll find even more shops and restaurants to enjoy.
Outside of the downtown area there are still tons of things to do. You’ll find many parks scattered around the area meaning wherever you live, you’ll always be close to a park. Golfers can take some stress off and play a round at the Pewaukee Golf Club located on the southwestern part on town. The Pewaukee Golf Club offers 18 pristine holes of golf with a full driving range that can accommodate up to 40 people at one time. The nearby Western Lakes Golf Club is another great option for golfers of any skill level. Western Lakes has an 18-hole, championship style course that offers some scenic views on every hole. The course plays almost 6,350 yards from the tips and is a great place to play with your friends or by yourself.
